MSE Brake Calipers

The GEM is the result of years of development and grueling real-world testing by MSE, a leading racing school in the UK -- it is not a rebuilt, remanufactured, or generic import from parts unknown.

The GEM LD19 has been engineered specifically to be a direct replacement for the obsolete AP/Lockheed CP2505 ("LD19") racing caliper, used extensively on Formula Ford 1600 and FF2000/FC cars from the 1960s through the 1990s. Cast iron construction makes it legal for all racing classes, including vintage racing where alloy calipers are not allowed.

All of the parts used on the GEM LD19, including the MSE rebuild kit and brake pads, are also fully compatible with the original AP/Lockheed CP2505 caliper.
